Zonal Vice Chairman of Zamfara PDP Condemns APC's Campaign of Misinformation

OPINION 

The Zamfara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) finds it necessary to address the latest unfounded and misleading statements issued by the All Progressives Congress (APC). It is both disappointing and ironic that a party responsible for years of insecurity, underdevelopment, and administrative failure in Zamfara now seeks to discredit a PDP-led administration that is focused on rebuilding the state.

Under the visionary and result-driven leadership of His Excellency, Governor Dr. Dauda Lawal, the PDP remains committed to restoring confidence in governance through transparency, accountability, and a commitment to the welfare of the people. In contrast to the APC’s legacy of misrule and corruption, our administration is laying the foundation for lasting progress.

The recent statement from the APC, laced with falsehoods and political desperation, reflects a party more concerned with propaganda than the truth. The activities of the State House of Assembly remain independent and institutional—not subject to personal interference by Governor Dr. Dauda Lawal or Dr. Jamilu Jibo. Yet, with these two visionary leaders at the helm, Zamfara enjoys dynamic and responsive leadership.

The people of Zamfara have chosen credible governance over chaos. We urge the APC to focus on resolving its internal crises.
